    Carrot CakeThe history tells us that “carrot pudding” was enjoyed during Medieval Times.
    Later on, during Middle Ages, sweetening agents were difficult to find in Britain and so the price became quite expensive.

    Consequently, “Carrot”, for some reasons, was often used as sweeteners – and that was the beginning of the “Carrot Cake” as we know it today.
